Insight Research delivers the foundation for strategic decision making.
Understanding how people think, decide and navigate uncertainty has been at the core of my work for almost two decades.
Senior Insight Research Consultant with experience across qualitative and quantitative research, Healthcare, Consumer Insights and complex stakeholder environments.
Built over years, not over claims.
My work is shaped by long term experience in qualitative and quantitative Insight Research, complex project environments and the translation of human behaviour into strategic perspective.
“Complex decisions are rarely driven by rational arguments alone.”
Research with psychological depth and practical relevance.
Over the years, I have worked across a wide range of industries, research settings and stakeholder environments. My work combines qualitative and quantitative methods with psychological thinking, strategic perspective and a strong focus on practical relevance.
I am particularly interested in the question behind the question: not only what people do, but why they do it, what drives decisions and where uncertainty, emotions or conflicting needs shape behaviour.
Alongside research itself, I have built and led teams, developed research approaches, managed complex stakeholder structures and translated insights into decision relevant perspectives.
A selection of projects that show how I think and work.
The following examples are not meant to be a full project archive. They show different types of questions, methods and outputs from Healthcare, Consumer, Cultural and strategic Insight Research.
Psychological Segmentation of Physicians
A two stage research approach to identify different physician mindsets and communication needs beyond demographic or speciality based distinctions.
Understand how physicians differ in their relationship towards innovation, continuity, support and communication.
Combination of quantitative analysis, factor based segmentation and qualitative deep dive profiling.
The physician types showed different motivational structures, barriers and requirements for meaningful support.
Quantitative Healthcare Tracking
Longitudinal research among physicians to monitor perception, recommendation behaviour and communication dynamics around a specific healthcare topic.
Make developments over time visible and usable for strategic steering in a dynamic market environment.
Multi wave quantitative online research, KPI structures, funnel logic, dashboard thinking and English reporting.
Tracking does not only describe movement. It helps teams understand where communication, recommendation and barriers shift.
Emotional Research in Pediatric Care
Psychological expert interviews with pediatricians to explore emotional dynamics, parental needs and behavioural patterns in early childhood healthcare.
Access emotional and often implicit themes that influence communication and decisions in pediatric settings.
In depth interviews with projective and creative techniques to uncover needs, tensions and perception patterns.
Health, safety, development, parental responsibility and the wish to do everything right form a powerful emotional context.
Cultural Research & Audience Psychology
Creative group discussions and emotional journey analysis in the cultural sector with a focus on opera and ballet audiences.
Understand the deeper emotional relevance of cultural experiences beyond satisfaction or attendance patterns.
Creative qualitative methods to explore anticipation, emotional involvement, ritualised patterns and repeat motivation.
Cultural experiences can become highly personal reward systems, linking emotion, identity and social belonging.
Animal Health & Pet Owner Insights
Research around pet owner behaviour, emotional attachment, healthcare decisions, insurance, nutrition and care related consumer behaviour.
Understand decisions in markets where rational product criteria meet emotional attachment and responsibility.
Qualitative and quantitative research with pet owners and related stakeholders, supported by desk research and re analysis.
Pet related decisions often reveal how strongly care, control, trust and self image influence consumer behaviour.
Strategy & Organizational Workshops
Workshop based research and facilitation to support positioning, internal alignment and the development of a clearer self understanding.
Help teams make implicit perceptions, strengths and tensions visible in a complex stakeholder environment.
Structured workshop design with discussion rounds, creative exercises and strategic synthesis.
Strong strategic work often starts when teams can describe more clearly what they already do well and where they need sharper focus.
Structured enough to handle complexity. Open enough to find what matters.
My work is based on clear thinking, methodological flexibility and the ability to translate complex human behaviour into insights that decision makers can actually use.
Analytical without losing the human perspective
I work with data, patterns and structures, but I never treat people as abstract data points.
Psychologically informed and strategically oriented
Research becomes powerful when it connects behaviour, motives, market context and decision relevance.
Experienced in complex stakeholder environments
I am used to projects involving different business functions, external partners and demanding decision contexts.
Flexible in methods and pragmatic in execution
The method should serve the question. Not the other way round.
A research profile with psychology, leadership and implementation experience.
My professional background combines academic psychology, many years of Healthcare Insight Research, independent consulting and experience in project leadership, team development and service provider management.
